Produced by The Real Lancashire Black Pudding Company to a closely guarded recipe dating back to 1879 using traditional methods.
The puddings have won many major awards, including The Best Black Pudding in Great Britain, as well as numerous awards in France, Belgium, Austria and Holland. Most recent awards include winner of the Producer of the Year Award in the North West Fine Foods Awards 2005 and the Grand Prix D’Excellence Nationalle at the Councour International Du Meilleur Boudin 2005. The puddings have also been featured on Rick Stein’s BBC series, Food Heroes.
